Author Guidelines

Manuscripts submitted to Moeslim Studies, an academic journal managed under Bale Beleq Indonesia, must be original scholarly works that have not been previously published and are not under consideration by other journals. The journal accepts manuscripts written exclusively in English, with a recommended length of 5,000–8,000 words, including references, tables, and figures. All submissions should demonstrate academic rigor, clarity of argument, methodological soundness, and relevance to Islamic and Muslim studies from diverse perspectives. Manuscripts should be prepared in Microsoft Word format, using Gulim 12-point font, single line spacing, A4 paper size, and standard margins. Each manuscript must include a title, an abstract of 150–200 words, keywords, an introduction, a coherent discussion or analysis section (including literature review and methodology where applicable), a conclusion, and a list of references. Citations and references must follow the APA 7th edition style consistently. To ensure a fair review process, submissions must be anonymised and free from any identifying author information. All manuscripts will be subjected to a peer review and plagiarism screening, with a maximum similarity index of 20 per cent. Submissions are accepted only through the journal’s Online Journal System, and authors are required to complete all metadata accurately at the time of submission.
